Sabail court rejects claim on destruction of Old City

Judge Alim Namazov retuned the claims basing on the missing of the document confirming that the Old City is historical monument and acts confirming that the plaintiffs are living there.

The vice-president of Judicial Enlightenment Society (JES) press service Leyla Madatova told the APA that not only the residents of the Old City, but every-one can demand protection of the monument, as culture law is an independent law.

The claim was raised against Baku Major's Office, Culture and Tourism Ministry and Sabail Executive Board in the frame of campaign "Our City" held by the committee.
