The Council said 188 candidates scoring 60 points and over in criminal and civil laws each past to the oral interview, Judicial Council told the APA.
The answers coded to ensure anonymity were checked by Judges Election Committee and an invited expert separately. In this exam candidates were to define the essence of the question and content of the law, to settle cases and to demonstrate the skill to express conception of the law. The candidates took written exams on December 25. More than 30 representatives composed of international organizations, NGOs and right defense organizations invigilated the examinations. The candidates answered two questions on criminal and civil laws during a four-hour examination.
