Republic Anti-Doping Conference to be held in Azerbaijan

Republic Anti-Doping Conference with participation of sportsmen, trainers and specialists will for the first time be held in Baku on March 3.

Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Ismayil Ismayilov told the APA-Sport agency that the aim of the conference is to prevent sportsmen from receiving medications willfully.

"The list of banned preparations will be announced and the sportsmen will be informed of the methods of fighting doping at the conference," he said.

Ismayilov said the equipment bought for rehabilitation of sportsmen will be demonstrated at the exhibition within the conference.
