President presents intelligentsia with orders and honorary titles

Congratulating the intellectuals, the head of state highly appreciated their merits in socio-political and cultural life of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

"Azerbaijan's economy is developing rapidly and it is felt in the life of every citizen," the President said.

The President awarded People's Poet Gabil Imamverdiyev "Independence" order, Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov "Azerbaijan's flag" order, State Advisor for Economic Policy Vahid Akhundov, Artists' Union chief, People's artist Farhad Khalilov, Head of Devechi Executive Power Sunduz Babayeva, Confederation of Labor Unions chief Sattar Mehbaliyev "Honor" order, writer Movlud Suleymanli "People's writer", Tofig Agababayev, Nazim Balakishiyev, Kahnlar Ahmadov, Arif Huseynov, Agali Ibrahimov, Salkhab Mammadov and Mirnadir Zeynalov "People's artist".
