Supreme Court chief holds press conference

Supreme Court held a conference on overall results of 2006.

The chief of Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev noted that they considered 3906 cases last year. 2754 of them were considered in court of civil affairs, 395 in court of economic affairs, 601 in the court of crime affairs, 109 in court of military affairs. This indicator is less by 3, 7% in comparison with 2005. 1920 of 2754 civil cases remained without any amendments to court acts, court acts were abolished on 783 cases, 50 cases were brought to end, on one case court act changed. 340 of 395 cases considered in the court on economic affairs were kept in force, 51 abolished, 3 were brought to an end. 474 of 624 court acts were kept in force, 69 were abolished, 29 brought to end, 51 were changed. International relations, law and information, analytic and legislation departments were established in the court during last year. The number of state employees has been increased from 87 to 104, APA reports.
