Result of bird flu monitoring in Azerbaijan announced

The State Veterinary Service under Agriculture Ministry has announced the results of bird flu monitoring held by the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry, Hunters Society and NGOs on January 29 - February 3.

Bird flu virus was not discovered in the samples taken from 38 head wild birds, blood samples from 8 head wild birds, samples from 8 head poultries and blood samples from 1,767 poultries at different farms.

The State Veterinary Service will carry out next monitoring from February 13 till 16, press service told the APA.
