Azad Rahimov attends WADA conference

Conference of countries that have signed up to an international convention against doping has started in Paris.

Azerbaijan's Youth and Sport minister Azad Rahimov also participated in the event along with other 90 countries, ministry press secretary Rafig Abbasov told APA-Sport.

He said that Azad Rahimov had met with Russian State Sport Agency chief Vyacheslav Fetisov, Ukrainian sport minister Viktor Korjenin, World Anti-Doping Agency vice chairman - also France's sports minister - Jean-Francois Lamour and UNESCO director-general Koichiro Matsuura.

During his speech Rahimov stated that Azerbaijan willing  to join European Anti-Doping Commission.
