Contracts with some Azeri teachers working in Istanbul to be prolonged

Azerbaijani Consul General to Istanbul Sayyad Aran told the APA that the agreement was reached during the meeting with the rector of the university Mesud Parlak.

The Consul General said that the contracts with the teachers having contributions to the science will be prolonged. Contracts with the other teachers will not be signed again.

"The rector also noted that the institute is also ready to sign contracts with new Azerbaijani teachers having contributions in world science. The rector said he is satisfied with the attendance and knowledge of Azerbaijani students studying in the university," he said.

Parlak said he will visit Azerbaijan at the invitation of Baku State University in March.
