Azeri national football team coach doesn't believe his team will play in Yerevan

"As a citizen, I don't agree the match against Armenian team to take place in Baku. Play of anthem and raising flag of enemy country in Azerbaijan is unacceptable. If we play match against Armenia in Baku, we would admit the invasion of Karabakh," stated head coach of the national team Shahin Diniyev.

He told APA-Sport he supported AFFA's decision to hold matches in neutral field.

He added that he doesn't believe our visit match against Armenia to take place in Yerevan.

"It is not my authority to choose the place for match between Azerbaijan and Armenia. It is to be solved at state level. We must agree with AFFA's decision," he said.
