Ministry of Culture and Tourism appeales to prevent illegal use of park areas

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has found out the facts during the investigations, ministry information service told, APA reports.

The Ministry has appealed to the court to abolish illegal privatization and prevent illegal use of Nizami Park, Shehriyar Park, R. Aboyev Park and S. Khasiyev Park.

The Ministry has also sent letters to the Cabinet, State Committee for Public Properties Management, Baku Mayor's Office and the chiefs of the executive power of 24 regions in connection with the issues to solve the problems in the parks, to improve the level of cultural services and to apply new methods of public activities.

The Ministry appealed to the Baku Mayor's Office requesting to consider the issues to enlarge the area of Baku Animal Park to prevent problems of the park, to improve its activities and social protection of the employees and to meet requirements of keeping animals.
