IAU students to hold protest action

The students gathered outside the building at 10.00 and demanded the restoration of their rights to education. The action continued till 12.00, the police did not interfere, chairman of the Students Rights Defense Committee Vugar Suleymanov told the APA.

Suleymanov said that the students will continue mass actions demanding the restoration of their rights to education. He also noted that they plan to hold hunger strike.

"Besides, we will hold pickets outside Education Ministry. The students will appeal against the judgement of Binagadi district court," he said.

Binagadi district court did not grant the claim of the students of Independent Azerbaijan University on transferring them to other private universities on January 29.
