24 died in car accidents within first 20 days of this year in Baku

70 car accidents happened in Baku on January 1-20, as a result of which 24 died and 89 were injured.

Spokesman of State Traffic Police Department of Baku Vagif Asadov told the APA  that 19,500 violations of traffic rules were registered during this period. 456 drivers were fined for driving being drunk, 776 for high speed, 38 for not obeying the police, 34 for violating the rules of passenger traffic.
