Temperature to be +1 above climate norm in Azerbaijan

The temperature is forecasted to be +1 above the climate norm, Director of the Climate Changes Center of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Maharram Mehdiyev told the APA. He said that it is connected with global warming.

"Besides natural processes, warming also depends on the influence of people's activity on atmosphere. Heat above norm in summer, may cause aridity, and this will negatively influence on agriculture. This will also influence on meteosensitive people," he said.

He said that though a record type temperature was observed in summer last year, average annual climate changes were normal.
