Military Prosecutor: "Elkhan Huseynov arrested as a his soldier tried to commit a suicide"

"Unfortunately, Appeals Court canceled arrest verdict against Elkhan Huseynov. He is still be interrogated," said Azerbaijan's Military Prosecutor, Khanlar Huseynov while commenting on the arrest of commander of a military unit, Elkhan Huseynov.

He told APA that Huseynov was arrested because a solider under him made an attempt to commit a suicide, denying that he was detained for soldier Vusal Garajeyev's being captured by Armenians.

He added that the Criminal Proceedings on the case of Huseynov was initiated under Article 125 (causing attempt to kill oneself) of the Criminal Code  and the investigation is ongoing.
