Cabinet offers to erect Independence monument

Cabinet press secretary Akif Ali told the APA that the proposal consists of erecting Independence monument in Dagustu Park and establishing Independence museum.

"The decree issued by Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev on December 19 had allotted 15 days for presentation of proposals. The Cabinet held a broad conference with participation of chiefs of relating bodies. Several proposals were discussed at the conference. The establishment of Independence museum and erection of Independence monument in Dagustu Park was decided by majority," he said.
