More than 5 thousand people deported from Russia to Azerbaijan in 2006

Totally 100 thousand people were departed most of which are Uzbek, Tajik and Georgians.

Officials of Azerbaijan confess that deported Azerbaijanis lived in Russia without any registration. So, Russia had to prevent from such cases taking appropriate measures.

Meanwhile, general citizenship passports will be given by the embassy in Moscow and consulate in Saint Petersburg after adoption of the new migration law in Russia.

Besides, Azerbaijanis, working in Russia will be able to get required additional documents without coming to Baku.

Nevertheless, Azerbaijanis, living in Russia expect for January 15 with great anxiety. ANS
