President Aliyev congratulates nation on Id-al-Adha

He said that sacrifice holiday is significant for obedience and love to the Greater, respect for moral and spiritual values, mercy and patience to every human being.

"This holy holiday personifies the spiritual-moral unity of all Muslims, love to Allah and readiness to self-sacrifice for justice," the president said.

The president noted that Azerbaijani people celebrate this holiday in every region of the country every year.

"In every region of our country people make sacrifices, bestow charities, and pray for peace and welfare of our state. I join your wishes and desires, and remember those who sacrificed themselves for the independence and territorial integrity of our country and wish patience to their families. Independent Azerbaijan is in the stage of dynamic development. Heydar Aliyev's strategy is our main goal. We will be devoted to this trend and insure further successes of Azerbaijan by straightening national-moral solidarity," the president said.

The president delivered his congratulations to Azerbaijanis living in different parts of the world, President's Office press service told the APA.
