Intelligentsia appeal to President and speaker

The appeal sent to APA by the teachers says that former Economic Development Minister Farhad Aliyev's Rights Defense Committee chief Jamil Hassanli's statements about defendant's health is untrue.

"Jamil Hassanli has begun a libel and outrage campaign and against the internationally well-known, experienced doctors involved to the commission organized to examine Farhad Aliyev's health.

"We have never differentiated our citizens according to their post, their belief, political stance.

"Our supreme goal is to stand on guard of their health and do our best.

"Even we would not refuse to help our enemy when he needs medical help. We bear responsibility for humanity and mankind.

"Although Jamil Hassanli is historian, he chose the way of casting shadow to professionalism and experience of our famous doctors who examined former minister. It makes all medical and health community indignant.

We protest against it and demand Milli Majlis Discipline Commission to estimate Jamil Hassanli's statement."

It was not possible to learn Jamil Hassanli's stance to the problem, APA reports.
