Editors' Union holds meeting concerning Azadliq correspondent

The director general of the newspaper Azer Ahmadov gave information about the beating facts and his health. Ahmedov said that it is more than 20 days that Huseynov's articles were not published in the newspaper and because of his personal problems he is not in Baku.

"That is why it is difficult to stance on any version. The incident happened in the afternoon, and if law enforcement bodies try, they can find the criminal," he said.

At the end of the meeting the statement was adopted. It was decided to hold the meeting of Defense Coordination Council of freedom of Speech and Press, APA reports.
