Azerbaijani branches of foreign universities appeals to court

Education Ministry has brought a suit against these universities. The appeal is considered by Local Economic Court #1.

Student admission to these universities has been banned till the suit on the abolition of these branches is considered. The appeal will be considered by the Court of Appeals within this week, Education Ministry told the APA.

Local Economic Court #1 has already made a decision on the abolition of the Baku branch of Kiev Entrepreneurship, Law and Advertising Institute and Baku branch of the Moscow State Open University, registered in the Justice Ministry. 17 branches of the foreign universities are illegally functioning in Azerbaijan now.
