Azerbaijani community founds Child and Youth Center in Tallinn

Azerbaijani community in the capital of Estonia in Tallinn founded "Fidan" Child and Youth Center.

The persons who had great role in the foundation of the center-the ministers of Education and Population of Estonia, the representatives of the city authorities, the members of Azerbaijan-Estonia Interparliamentarian friendship group, the Ambassador of Turkey to Estonia participated in the opening ceremony.

According to the official records there are 800 Azerbaijanis living in Estonia, but the community unites nearly 2000 people.

The community takes important measures for Azerbaijani children not to forget their mother tongue-Azerbaijani language. On this purpose Sunday school has been founded and the newspaper is published. Kinder garden, sport hall and different circles will action in the new founded center.

The chief of Estonia Azerbaijan Culture Center Niyazi Hajiyev said that not only Azerbaijani children but also the children from other nationalities will be adopted to the center, APA reports.
