Kamil Sedreddinov's lawyer wants court to bring acquittal

The lawyers of defendants made their defense speeches.

A lawyer to Kamil Sedreddinov Ogtay Gerekmezli said that the punishment that public prosecutors' demanded yesterday is groundless. Gerekmezli asked court to bring acquittal about him.

"Kamil Sedreddinov was arrested on the basis of Haji Mammadov's bias testimonies. The investigation has no proof except Haji's testimony to the investigation. Kamil's defense rights were violated in first days of his arrest as his defense was organized formally. They achieved to get Kamil's acknowledgement of his crimes artificially during the investigation. Violating the law, the investigation worked out some document, these documents can not be adopted as evidences. Haji Mammadov told court for several times that he gave the testimony to the investigation as the investigator dictated," he said.

Then Vagif Niftullayev lawyer to Fariz Hamidov and Ferhad Mammadov, Tofig Allahverdiyev a lawyer to Azer Aliyev, Afat Gaziyev a lawyer to Faig Guliyev, Hazi Mammadov a lawyer to Aslanbek Chintamirov and Aligulu Guliyev made their speeches.

The trial will be continued in the second part of the day, APA reports.
