Iran-Azerbaijan hold herbal plants research

Iranian Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR) chief in Shahid Beheshti University, Dr. Mojtaba Moghbel Al-Hussein informed that Iran and Republic of Azerbaijan were to maintain future ties in the field of science and research.

"Holding scientific, research and educational exchange and ties with other countries, particularly neighboring ones is in line with the new policies of the ACECR. Therefore, the Azerbaijani ambassador to Iran who visited the ACECR Herbal plants research center a few days ago, proposed cooperation and joint investments in the field of scientific research with Iran," stated Moghbel Al-Hussein.

"Azerbaijan being a free trade region could make a good market for the scientific and research products of other countries," he went on to say.

He also informed that holding exhibitions and exchanging scientific achievements, research and educational experiences were among the other fields of cooperation with Azerbaijan.

"Considering the variety of herbs and the capabilities and laboratory equipments of Iran, the ACECR welcomes the cooperation of other willing countries in this field," he concluded. ISNA
