Criminal case launched against Sedaget Agayev and Elshan Mammadov

General Prosecutor's Office press service chief Vugar Aliyev confirmed the fact.

Aliyev said that Mammadov and Agayev were dismissed because of irregularities made in their activity.

The documents were sent to Investigation Department for Grievous Crimes. Criminal case was launched on the Article 308.1 (abuse of power) and 317.2 (violation of rules in detention wards) of Criminal Code.

The chief of Penitentiary Service Nazim Alekberov in his interview said that Sedaget Agayev was warned about his irregularities and given three months for taking measures.

But Agayev was dismissed. Commander Elshen Mammadov was dismissed because of not providing the security of the jail, APA reports.
