AFFA not invited to gala night in Zurich

FIFA will organize presentation ceremony on the occasion of rewarding the best football player of the world in Zurich, Switzerland, on December 18.

Over 1000 guests and national associations have been invited to the ceremony. AFA has not been invited to the presentation ceremony again, AFFA Secretary General Fuad Asadov told the APA.

He said that though the date was set a long time ago, FIFA has not sent invitation to AFFA. "We did not receive invitation within last two years. FIFA usually sends invitations to the national associations a month before," he said.
