Women lawyers gather in int'l conference in Baku

OSCE Baku Office, the America and Eurasia Lawyers Associations organize the workshop at support of the Azerbaijan State Committee on Family, Woman and Children Problems.

The goal of the action is to achieve improvement of the legislature against violence toward women, the speakers noted. Discussed are expected issues of the role of woman lawyers in society on global and national levels, the prospects and some legal problems concerning the item.

In section meetings, concrete lectures were delivered. The conferees reaffirmed that elimination of violence against women should be substantiated on legal ground. AzerTAg
