Baku to host IV conference of Islamic countries' Education Ministers

The minister noted that he participated in the III conference of education ministers of Islamic countries held in Kuwait.

The problems of cooperation in science and education, holding scientific investigations in these countries, financing corresponding spheres from state budget, integration to the world education and other problems were discussed in the conference held with the participation of Education Ministers from 52 countries.

At the end of the conference it was decided to hold conference of Education Ministers every two, not three years.

The Minister said that he had met with Education Ministers of Kuwait and Malaysia. Stressing that ISESCO always paid great attention to Azerbaijan the Minister said this organization supported Azerbaijan in the problem concerning Nagorno Karabakh in 1993, APA reports.
