He told APA that the problems with determination of judge staff have still remained unsolved and judges should be chosen among professional and skilful lawyers. "The court reforms are comprehensive. Both the laws are improved and the competence of courts is increased. Judges were not enough in number to review ht increasing cases. Azerbaijan takes the last place among European Countries for the number of judges. The President therefore decided to increase the number of judges. An Action Plan was developed by the Working Group through cooperation with the Council of Europe during the last two years. The activities of judges are being assessed by the panel and concrete judgments will be made. Appointment of 55 applicants as judges will be reviewed," he underscored.
