Students of Independent Azerbaijan University held protest action outside Education Ministry

He said that they appealed to Baku Mayor's Office to hold a picket last week but haven't got an answer yet, APA reports.

Suleymanov said the picket will be held in any case and they will demand the restoration of their educational rights. He said that Education Ministry considers that the students entered the Independent Azerbaijan University illegally in 2004 and they are not considered students.

"We made investigations and found out that the majority of the students entered the University in 2004 were transferred to other Universities by the Minister and other authorized persons' order. Why a group of students entered the University in the same year are considered students another group not?" he said.
