08 November 2006 [10:54] - TODAY.AZ
"We prevent selling of newspapers only in traffic lights and passages, because, it causes traffic jam. It is not right to value it as the pressure on press," Baku Main Police Board Public Security department chief Shamil Seyidli told.

He said that newspaper selling is not prohibited where the traffic is not intensive, APA reports.

The chief of Press Council Eflatun Amashov said there is no problem in newspaper selling. He said that the only problem is these sellers are not registered as tax payers.
