Azerbaijan U-19 football team trashes Armenia

Azerbaijan U-19 football team beat Armenian rivals in the European championship qualifier, which was held in the Republic of Cyprus.

Even though Armenian footballers took the lead in the first half, Azerbaijan team came from behind in the second half to clinch a narrow 2:1 win.

Azerbaijan team also competes with Cyprus, Hungary in the 7th group.

The top team in the each group will qualify for next round. Azerbaijani young footballers are scheduled to clash with Hungary on October 29 and Cyprus on October 31. AzerTAg
