International Medical Corps gives trainings for first aid specialists

The International Medical Corps (IMC) starts eight-day trainings for 22 first aid specialists with support of the USAID and leading oil companies.

The trainers are international experts representing the US John Hopkins University First Aid Education and Development Program. They will inform trainees about clinical and practical skills. The trainees will hold seminars for over 300 first aid doctors.

The trainings are carried out in the frames of "Initiative on First Aid Improvement" project with financial support of the US John Hopkins University First Aid Education and Development Program, USAID, "Amerada Hess" and "Chevron" oil companies, BTC oil pipeline and realized by the IMC.

The project has started since September, 2005, the term is for 2, 5 years. The project costs US $2, 5mn, APA reports.
