Azeri wrestler took bronze

The world free-style wrestling championship is underway in the Chinese city of Guangzhou.

Five-strong Azerbaijan team is led by Aslan Agayev. Olympic champion Namig Abdullayev (55 kg) edged rivals from Georgia and Greece to qualify for the semi-final. He lost to Russian wrestler in the semi-final but outplayed Korean athlete in the third-place bout.

Elman Askerov and Elnur Aslanov will start competing on September 28 while Khizar Durgayev on September 29.
