Azerbaijani Doctor of Science arrested for bribery

The dean took bribe of US $79 500 from Hasanagha Mirzayev last month. In return of the bribe he had to admit some persons to his faculty, but did not keep his promise. They appealed to police and a criminal case was launched against him.

Azerbaijan University Rector Feraim Sadigov told that no one with that name works in the university, APA reports.

"He is the Doctor of Economic Science and appealed to the university for job. He worked in the Azerbaijan State Economic University and Lenkeran State University before. He turned our doubtful person and we did not take him to the university," he said.
