Lifer dies in hospital

Adil Asgarov was treated at the Justice Ministry's hospital.

The lifer was transferred to the treatment center from Gobustan jail, a prison source told the APA.

Asgarov was sentenced to life in prison three years ago. He was transferred to the treatment place due to his serious health problem not long ago. The prisoner is believed to have died from cancer.

The treatment center told the APA Asgarov was seriously ill and received treatment at the center several times. The old prisoner died from disease several days ago.
