One more Gobustan lifer commits suicide

One more life-term prisoner of Gobustan jail in Azerbaijan committed suicide yesterday.

A source in the prison told the APA Yuri Safaraliyev was found dead in the bath of the prison.

Safaraliyev was born in Mingecgevir city. He lived in Baku before being imprisoned. He was sentenced to life in prison in 2004.

The cause of his self-murder has not been found yet.

Garadagh district prosecutor's office confirmed the report on Safaraliyev’s death. A criminal case was launched on relevant article of Criminal Code. The investigation is under way.
