Azer Nuriyev accused of robbing Turkish ambassador attempts to commit suicide in trial

The Court of Appeal ended the trial of Azer Nuriyev, who was accused of robbing Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Turan Morali.

Nuriyev has been sentenced to five years in prison. Following the declaring of the sentence, Nuriyev attempted to commit suicide with a blade. He was prevented from committing suicide.

Nuriyev was sentenced to 15 months in prison by Grave Crimes Court for robbing Turkish ambassador.

After being releasing, he faced charges of robbing his mate Jamila's mobile and sentenced to eight years in prison by the same court.

Azer Nuriyev cut himself several times, went on hunger strike and stitched his mouth once, APA reports.
