Farhad Aliyev confronts Haji Mammadov

Azerbaijani ex-economic development minister Farhad Aliyev confronted tried gang leader Haji Mammadov at the National Security Ministry, Adil Ismayilov told.

The confrontation was connected with Haji Mammadov's testimony upon the trial on the murder of the editor-in-chief of journal "Monitor" Elmar Huseynov. However, the lawyer did not make public the details of the confrontation due to investigation secret.

Ismayilov also said he met with Farhad Aliyev and witnessed his bad health.

The ex-minister was transferred to the National Security Ministry jail from the Treatment Center yesterday, APA reports.
