Vasif Adigozelov's funeral held

Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev said it is a great loss for Azerbaijani culture. "He is an author of about 100 music and several operas. For a long time he was the head of Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Society and has been Azerbaijan Composers' Union head for 15 years. He made great contribution to Azerbaijan culture," he said.

Azerbaijan Writers' Union head Anar, USSR public artist Lutfuyar Imanov, popular artist Ramiz Guliyev, Azerbaijan Composers' Union secretary Ramiz Zohrabov, composers Sayavush Kerimi and Azer Rzayev made speeches in the funeral.

The composer was buried at the Honor Alley, APA reports.
