Azerbaijan Composers' Union head Vasif Adigozalov passed away

Azerbaijani people's artist, head of the Azerbaijan Composers’ Union Vasif Adigozalov died at the age of 71 this morning.

The Composers' Union told that the funeral will be held in the Baku Music Academy tomorrow.

Adigozalov was born in Baku in 1935. He graduated from the Azerbaijan State Music Conservatory in 1958. Gara Garayev, Guliyeva were his teachers, APA reports.

Adigozalov wrote several musical commodities, three symphonies, "Karabakh shikestesi", "Chanakkala" oratories and many other works. He has been recently awarded Glory order.
