Azerbaijani employees face social protection problems in Turkey

Turkish Labor and Social Protection Minister Murat Basheskioglu visited tombs of Heydar Aliyev and Academic Zarifa Aliyeva in Honor Alley in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku.

The Minister laid a wreath on the Eternal Torch in Martyrs' Alley and memorial for Turkish martyrs. After the ceremony Turkish delegation met with Azerbaijan Labor and Social Protection Minister Fuzuli Alekberov. The ministers talked about exchanging experiences in labor and social protection spheres.

"450,000 jobs have been created in Azerbaijan recently. The government intends to expand the spheres of activity by applying Turkish counterparts' experiences. There are 3, 000 Turkish companies with 50,000 employees in Azerbaijan," Minister Alekberov said.

The Azerbaijani minister also touched upon the social protection problems of nearly 100,000 Azerbaijanis working in Turkey.

The Turkish Minister said they will discuss the above mentioned and other problems, and lay down the foundation of future activity.

Mr.Basheskioglu also plans meeting with Azerbaijani President and visiting Labor and Social Protection Ministry's Education Center.
