Azerbaijan's Court of Grave Crimes today continued the trial of the gang led by Haji Mammadov, former high ranking official of the Interior Ministry Crime Investigation Department.

Public prosecutor Abdullah Yusifov asked questions to defendant Haji Mammadov. He asked whether defendant Aslanbek Kentamirov was right in his testimony saying that Haji still leads an unarrested gang. Haji said he can speak about that after the process is over. "Let Aslanbek Kentamirov say if he has exact information about it. I have many mates in Azerbaijan and abroad. I'll testify about upon the trial about that later on."

Aslanbek Kentamirov answered questions on the kidnapping of owner of Azersigorta State Company Mammad Mammadov's son Ahmad Mammadov. "Shirkan Albiyev told me to commit this. We decided to kidnap Ahmad Mammadov from a caf?. We kidnapped him and took to Keshla settlement. I got $25 thousand and Bilal - another. Gang leader got $75 thousand for this case."

Kentamirov also testified on the kidnapping of Zeynalabdin Babayev. "I do not know who ordered this kidnapping. I shared the $26 thousand with Bilal's gang member 'Kharon'."

He also answered questions on the kidnapping of Oktay Babayev, Majid Mammadov and Murad Kazimov.

Testifying on the murder of Fatullah Huseynov, president of the Azerbaijan Football Federation Association, Kentamirov said Haji Mammadov forced him to be involved in this crime.

"Haji told me that Fatullah Huseynov should be killed. First I protested. Then Haji said he is involved in politics with senior officials. I did not get anything for this case," the defendant said.
