Azeri criminals extradited from Russia

20 prisoners sentenced in Russia were handed over to Azerbaijan on September 3.

Rafig Ramazanov, department chief of the Justice Ministry Main Office of Execution of Verdicts told the APA 37 Azerbaijani prisoners were handed to Azerbaijan in the 8 months of this year. One of them was extradited from Iran in February, 16 from Russia in April and July.

Azerbaijan extradited 20 foreign prisoners in the reporting period. 18 of them were extradited to Iran in February and 2 to Russia in July.
