Naila Guliyeva: "Haji Mammadov built a house for Zahid Dunyamaliyev for covering up his deeds"

Public prosecutors announced the controversial nuances regarding Mammadov's extramarital partner Naila Guliyeva's testimonies upon the trial.

Guliyeva said she was threatened while giving testimony to the investigation.

She also commented on her testimony on the murder of criminalist Rovshan Aliyev.

"I felt that Rovshan was about to reveal Haji's deeds and wanted to kill him," the defendant said.

She also said the Interior Ministry's officials, even Minister Ramil Usubov were aware of Haji Mammadov’s business activity.

"Zahid Dunyamaliyev, former deputy Interior Minister also knew of Haji's business activity. Haji built a house for Dunyamaliyev in Garabulag as a sign of gesture for covering up his deeds," she underlined.

The trial will continue on September 6, APA reports.
