Gobustan lifers call off protest action

Azerbaijan's Human Rights Defense Center director Eldar Zeynalov and the center member Zaliha Tahirova visited Gobustan prison.

The human rights defenders met with the life-term prisoners, who appealed to the European Court of Human Rights. They familiarized with their problems with the prison authorities.

The rights activists assured the lifers to stop the one-week protest action.
