Large amount of religious-extremist literature found on Azerbaijan-Russia border

Russian Federal Security Service Dagestan Department officers arrested large amount of religious-extremist literature in the cargo train from Azerbaijan to Russia August 27.

Religious books, video cassettes and discs were found in the container where private things were kept. Nothing about the owners due to the investigation.

Hidayet Orujov, head Azerbaijan's State Committee for Religious Communities told journalists that all books were checked by experts. He said that religious literature is sometimes smuggled in, APA reports.
