Baku Cup qualifiers played

International tennis tournament "Baku Cup-2006" has started in Baku.

The tournament brought together some 40 tennis players from Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Italy, India, Spain and Belarus. The prize fund topped $10000.

Qualification encounters took place August 27. 8 winners booked their places in the tournament, which will kick off August 28.

Elina Hasanova, Sevil Aliyeva, Seyyare Mammadova will represent Azerbaijan in the tournament.
