Radioactive sources found in Republic Oncological Center's area

Emergencies Ministry, National Academy of Science Radiation Problems Institute and Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry completed the operation to find lost and stolen radioactive sources in the area of the Republic Oncological Center.

Radiation Problems Institute director told the APA weak radioactive sources have been found in the area. Next examinations for radioactive sources will be conducted in establishments in Sumgayit.

US specialists have installed two facilities in the cost of $100,000 in the Institute's lab to research radioactive sources.
