Emergencies Ministry commission surveyed landslide site in Khanlar region

The commission members led by Deputy Minister Orujeli Hajiyev surveyed the site. The Ministry public affairs office told the APA the landslide affected some parts of Dozular village.

Local residents say this geological process started about one year ago and speedily developed in the past three days. The cause of the landslide was vibrations due to intensive trucks' movement near the village. Dozular secondary school, library, club, local authority as well as eight houses have been damaged by the landslide.

The residents have been evacuated to more secure places.
