Three shepherds disappear in Zagatala

Three shepherds and about 1,000 head of sheep have disappeared in Azerbaijani region of Zaatala, in Dedibot chain of mountains bordering with Dagestan, Russia.

Suvagil village local authority member Soltan Soltanov told the APA's Sheki-Zagatala bureau on 16 August they heard about the disappearing of shepherds from Suvagil village of Zagatala and the sheep.

Zagatala executive power and border unit officers are taking action to find the missing shepherds and their sheep. It is possible that the shepherds and sheeps were detained by Russian border guards.
